Meet Arcelia…
Hello! My name is Arcelia Miller, and I’ve journeyed from combat boots to high heels to flip flops, weaving a rich tapestry of diverse and impactful leadership experiences. I am honored to serve as the Executive Director of Under His Wings, a nonprofit that provides counseling, coaching and residential services for teen girls in South Alabama. Since 2019, I have been dedicated to guiding the organization’s mission to provide counseling, education, and life skills training to young women while coaching their families toward restoration and growth.
My leadership journey began as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force, where I cultivated resilience, strategic thinking, and a servant leadership mindset. Transitioning from military service, I embraced the corporate world as a business consultant and leadership/executive coach. My professional path also reflects my dedication to family, as I spent six years as a homeschool director with Classical Conversations and two years as the Younger Children’s Director at Faith Family Fellowship.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The George Washington University and a Master’s in Quality Systems Management from The National Graduate School. My certifications include:
